Fausto A. Rosales 

Fausto Antonio Rosales, Esq. advises clients on a wide range of business, property, and consumer transaction and litigation matters, including contract disputes; business purchase transactions; start-up law; real estate matters; and issues involving general civil litigation.

Born in Nicaragua but raised in Miami, Florida, Mr. Rosales attended the University of Miami School of Business Administration, graduating with a concentration in International Finance and Marketing. Following business school, Mr. Rosales worked as a Financial Advisor Associate for a Fortune 500 Swiss wealth management firm advising ultra-high net worth clients on financial and estate planning matters. Seeking to fulfill his life-long dream, Mr. Rosales then enrolled at St. Thomas University School of Law, where he was a Staff Editor of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review. Mr. Rosales made Dean’s list several times and was awarded the nationally recognized CALI Award for Excellence in Advanced Legal Research and Writing. Mr. Rosales is also an International Baccalaureate (“IB”) diploma program recipient.

Mr. Rosales’ professional experience is as diverse as his clients. During law school, Mr. Rosales obtained a position within the United States Securities and Exchange Commission - Miami Regional Office Division of Enforcement Trial and Litigation Team via the SEC’s highly coveted Honor’s Observer’s Program. Mr. Rosales also clerked in the Office of the General Counsel for the Trump Dezer Development company, one of the largest private residential and commercial property developers in the Southeast United States. Prior to establishing The Law Office of Fausto A. Rosales, P.A., Mr. Rosales represented one of the largest U.S. national banking conglomerates in Florida state court and arbitration proceedings in connection with consumer finance and lender-based litigation, loan servicing litigation, and real property disputes.

Mr. Rosales represents clients in various business transactions and litigation matters. Specifically, Mr. Rosales regularly advises entrepreneurs and small business owners in contract and business disputes; represents consumers in high-stakes consumer debt collection cases; represents landlords in landlord-tenant eviction matters; and helps homeowners in foreclosure defense, modification, and short sale matters.

Mr. Rosales resides in the urban core of Downtown Miami.

Connie Peña

Connie Peña, Esq., provides client and attorney support to the firm in the areas of criminal defense, immigration law, and family law.

Connie Peña has always strived to help her community and those in need.  She served as an Assistant Public Defender in Broward County, Florida, where she fought for the rights of her clients, from pre-filing of formal criminal charges through multiple jury and bench trials ranging between misdemeanors and 1st degree felonies. 

Connie Peña is also involved in the community. Currently, she holds the position of President for the 2017-2018 term of the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association. In addition, she is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and Palm Beach Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Connie Peña is admitted to practice law in Florida and is fluent in Spanish, and proficient in French and Portuguese.

Ian Corp

Ian Corp is responsible for drafting various motions, complaints, answers, and performs legal research in areas of Business Litigation, Landlord/Tenant Law, and Consumer Defense.

Ian was born and raised in South Florida, is of Cuban descent, and is fluent in Spanish.  At Florida International University's School of International and Public Affairs, Ian received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Certificate in Professional and Public Writing.  While completing his collegiate studies, Ian worked as the Director of Client Relations at Mager Paruas, LLC, a civil litigation law firm, where he managed over 250 clients.  After his first year of law school, he was invited to return to Mager Paruas as a law clerk under prominent appellate attorney Scott A. Mager, Esq.

Ian is currently a third year law student at St. Thomas University School of Law.  He serves as Vice President of Alumni Relations on the Moot Court Board.  He received the Best Brief Award for the Spring 2017 Moot Court Board Intramural Competition, and received the nationally recognized CALI Excellence for the Future Award for the top grade in Business Associations.

Jannel Palenzuela

Jannel assists clients in facilitating the eviction process in landlord-tenant litigation, consumer defense, and drafting pleadings such as complaints, answers, and various motion. She also conducts legal research and writes memoranda accordingly.

Jannel is ambitious, hard-working, and able to work simultaneously on various projects while meeting deadlines. She was born and raised in Miami, Florida, is of Cuban descent, and is fluent in Spanish. While completing her undergraduate studies at Florida International University, and during part of her first year in law school, Jannel also worked at Zirlin & Rounsaville, Property Tax Advisors, PL, where she managed over 4,000 real estate folios and over 200 clients.

Jannel is currently third year law student at St. Thomas University, where she has continued to strive for success. She currently serves as the Editor-In-Chief for one of St. Thomas’s law reviews, the Journal of Complex Litigation, and is a second-year student senator of the Student Bar Association
